Blue Mother Tupelo & various artists take the stage for the finale of the Mississippi Songwriters Festival at Mosaic on Government Street in beautiful Ocean Springs!

In 2010, a group of local Mississippi Gulf Coast friends were jammin’ (as musicians often do) and lamented that there was no vehicle to allow songwriters to share their original music… and the Mississippi Songwriters’ Festival was born! The Festival has grown into an impressive showcase of talent – including 15 to 20 professional songwriters (many from Nashville) who generously share their work by playing at a variety of local venues or teaching their craft in various workshops. Held in the picturesque art-filled city of Ocean Springs, the Mississippi Songwriters’ Festival is a “feast for the ears”. True to the mission of remaining a non-profit organization, there is never a cover charge to enjoy the shows.
