GRAMMY Museum® Mississippi held its first education program on Monday, March 7, 2016, hosting 115 local 8th grade students from Margaret Green Junior High’s ASPIRE group.
The students participated in a tour of the Museum, followed by a program in the Sanders Sound Stage where they learned about performing and the art and craft of songwriting from Blue Mother Tupelo.
“We are so proud of the music makers of Mississippi and grateful, beyond words, for their inspiration,” said Micol of Blue Mother Tupelo. “Thank you for letting us share our music and our story during this time together with the students today.”
